Dedicated as a cultural institution that functions as a bridge between Spain and Latin America, Casa de America is located on the south bank of Manzanares River, in proximity to Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida which is famous for housing murals by Francesco de Goya and Temple Debod. The institution offers exhibition space, performance space and lecture auditorium that can host cultural exchanges between continents. The building also incorporates library, lounge, book store and cafe that are open to the public, which renders the institution a hang-out location for visitors.
